MEC LEVELLING OIL S-365
DESCRIPTION
MEC Levelling Oil S-365 is a heat resistant levelling oil designed for use in oil fusing systems on solder plated thru-hole boards to form the tin-lead alloy.
FEATURES
- The oil is water soluble and is easily removed by water rinsing.
- No foaming when heated, and no sludge.
- Does not contain any harmful ingredients.
Form : Colorless clear to light yellow clear liquid
Viscosity(cps /25°C) : 240 ą 40
Remarks :
- When exposed to the sunlight, the liquid color
will change from pink to dark purple, which will give no adverse effects
on their efficiency.
- Use as supplied.
- Operate at 210 - 235°C.
- In order to get bright and smooth surfaces,
solder plated boards should be cleaned with solder brightner MECBRITE SB
before oil fusing.
- Provide adequate ventilation in the working area.
- When handling the oil, wear goggles and gloves for protection of eyes and hands.
- In case of skin contact, immediately flush with running water. In case of eye contact, immediately flush with running water and obtain medical aids.
- When not in use, keep containers closed tightly, and store in cold, dark and well ventilated area.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Keep away from open flames or sparks because it is flammable. Keep it below 260°C. (Flash point = 280°C)
- In oil fusing, a lot of water contamination can be a cause of bumping. Care should be taken not to drag in too much water.
- Spent oil must be treated as waste.
- When oil should ignite in a container, it will not cause an explosion. Turn off the heater and cover the container immediately with a lid to stop the supplying air. Cool the container by ventilation. Do not put water into a burning container.
Available in 25L and 200L polyethylene drums.
