MEC SOLDERMASK STRIPPER PS-450
DESCRIPTION
MEC Soldermask Stripper PS-450 is specially developed to strip various solvent-developed photoimageable solder mask.
FEATURES
- High stripping efficiency.
- Does not attack copper, gold and solder surface.
- Non-smoky and odorless.
Appearance : Transparent, colorless to light yellow.
Specific gravity(20°C) : 1.20 +/- 0.02
pH : > 13
Flashpoint : > 300°C
APPLICATIONS
Operating temperature : 85 - 90°C
Immersion time : 15 - 30 minutes depending on thickness of SM.
Lightly scrub the PCB with brush to remove the remain of soldermask
which may still be present on the surface, after the stripping operations.
SOLUTION MAKE-UP
PS-450 is a ready-to-use preparation.
SOLUTION REPLENISHMENT
Use Stripper PS-450 to replenish when the stripping efficiency weakens
or when the solution becomes opaque. Discharge half the volume of the bath
and replenish it with PS-450. Water dilution is strictly forbidden.
EQUIPMENT
Tank : 300 series stainless steel.
Heater : 300 series stainless steel.
Agitation : Mechanical or air agitation can improve the processing
efficiency.
PACKAGING
20 litres per plastic pail.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
PS-450 contains strong alkali. Operator
should wear goggles, gloves and protective clothing when handling.
Avoid skin and eyes contacts. In case of contact with skin, wash
away at once with copious amount of water. In case of contact with eyes,
medical treatment is necessary.
STORAGE
PS-450 should be kept away from direct
sunlight and stored in dry area of 10 - 40°C
The containers should be well sealed when not in use.
